How do I search for a parcel?:

You have many options on how to search for your parcel. You can search by:

Parcel Number: type in the 11 digit parcel number of the tax lot you wish to find then click search.

House Number: type in the house number of the parcel you wish to find. This will give you a list of houses with that house number. Scroll through and find the parcel you were looking for.

Street Name: type in the name of the street in which the parcel you are looking for resides. This will give you a list of all the parcels on that street. Scroll through and find the parcel you were looking for.

Address: type in the full address of the parcel you wish to find. If you get an error message saying not found, double check the spelling, house numbers, etc. Or try putting in the information with less detail (i.e. "Nob Hill" instead of "Nob Hill Blvd")

Rng Twn Sec: If you know the Range, Township, and Section of your parcel, type it in and this will get you into the surrounding area.

GPS Lat/Long: If you know the Latitude and Longitude of the area you are looking for, type that in.

Community/City: If you are just looking for an area, type in the Community or City, then you can pan around and zoom until you find what you are looking for.

Note: Parcels are mapped by using the parcel number. Only by using the "search by parcel number" will your map extend be in the correct place. All other searches will get you into the correct area, but you may have to pan around a little to get to the correct location.

Browser Settings

This application is best viewed at 1024x768 resolution with: Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape 6 or higher, or Mozilla 1.0 or higher.

The Internet Map application can be viewed in both Microsoft Internet Explorer (5.5 or higher) and Netscape Communicator (6 or higher). For faster performance, 64 MB of RAM is recommended. The application is best used with a fast Internet connection. If you have a 56K or slower connection, maps could take several seconds to load. Subscribers to Internet service providers (ISP), which have their own browser software (such as AOL), may experience problems using the ISP browser. If this happens, once your Internet connection has been established, open up one of the three supported browsers to access the system. ISP-provided browsers generally put an outside wrapper around the Internet window that remains active and cannot be minimized. These wrappers take up too much screen space and will not allow satisfactory viewing.

This application will run with smaller monitors and screen resolution settings, but for optimum viewing, the application should be viewed with 17" monitors (or larger) that have screen resolutions set to 1024 x 768 (From the Start Menu, select Settings/Control Panel/Display and on the Settings tab, change the screen area to 1024 x 768 pixels).
